Resumption of suspended pension payments (April 2026)
The Ministry of Finance and the institution launched a new digital mechanism, effective April 1, 2026, allowing those whose pensions were previously suspended to begin the process of reinstating their payments electronically:
Registration Method: Send an SMS to 3346.
Message Content: Must include (full name, national ID number, status "retired" or "heir", and mother's name).
Target Groups:
Military and civilian retirees whose pensions were suspended for security reasons under the previous regime.
Military defectors who did not return to service and have reached retirement age.
Retirees and their heirs after April 2011 who were not involved in crimes.
Former public officials and members of parliament who supported the recent changes.
Important Note: Registration is only required from the individual concerned, and the phone number provided will be the official means of communication for completing the procedures later.
