1. Supreme Authority (Supervision)
Ministry of Finance: This entity directly supervises the institution, with the Minister of Finance chairing its Board of Directors.
Board of Directors: This includes representatives from the Ministries of Finance, Defense, Interior, and Social Affairs, as well as the General Federation of Trade Unions. Its role is to formulate general policies.
 
2. Executive Management (Headquarters - Damascus)
This department is led by the Director General and comprises several specialized central directorates:
Directorate of Settlement of Rights: This is the most important directorate, responsible for reviewing the files of those whose services have ended and calculating their pensions.
Directorate of Pensions: This directorate is responsible for monthly salary schedules, adjustments, and increases (such as the 200% increase).
Directorate of Information Technology: This directorate oversees databases, the electronic payment system (ATM), and the SMS service (3346).
Directorate of Legal Affairs: This directorate interprets insurance laws and adjudicates legal disputes.
Directorate of Finance: This directorate manages the institution's budget and the insurance funds investment fund.
 
3. Branches in the Governorates (Decentralization)
Branches exist in all governorate centers, and each branch is administratively divided into:
The Pensioners Department: for receiving official documents and updating data.
The Disbursement Department: for monitoring the receipt of pensions through banks or the postal service.
The Archiving Department: for maintaining the pensioners' files in each governorate.
 
4. Medical Boards (Committees)
Medical Committees: These are specialized committees (military and civilian) that determine disability percentages and approve disability pensions and work-related injury benefits.
